Our diffusers are made with Perfumers Alcohol as opposed to a base carrier oil. This increases the scent throw and is also flammable as a liquid. Just like your domestic perfume will be if exposed to a naked flame.

We also use Fibre reeds which result in a stronger scent throw rather than Rattan which can get clogged. The Fibre reed acts like a wick and distributes the scent more evenly. They will draw the liquid up to then evaporate into the air. If your room is humid you need to keep an eye on the reeds to make sure the liquid from the reeds is evaporating and not dripping downwards. If this happens simply turn and wipe away any excess. You do not need to turn our reeds but as the scent gets near the bottom you can turn occasionally to draw up the last bit of oil
